Eighteen piglets were allotted to the three treatments (T1-no acidifier, T2- digestaide and T3- sugar cane vinegar) employing CRD with three replication. The study was conducted from August 4 to October 11, 2009 at the Piggery Project of DMMMSU-NLUC, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union. Results revealed that the performance of piglets in terms of final weight, gain in weight and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost were comparable among all the treatments used. However sugar cane vinegar and digestaide resulted to normal feces as contrasted to moist feces on presence of diarrhea in the control pigs.en-USSugar cane (Saccharum officinarum linn.) vinegar as acidifier for pigletsThesis
