Growth and yield of onion leeks (Allium porrum) in indoor farming condition as affected by led light intensity. [Unpublished Undergraduate Thesis, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University- North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union].https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/1510Erratic weather patterns affect the productivity and output of crops in the Philippines. Indoor production allows the farmers to grow crops in a controlled condition. The study aimed to determine the effect of using light emitting diode (LED) grow lights on the growth and yield of onion leeks in terms of Height of the longest leek sheath, Number of leek sheath, and weight of onion leeks that were grown indoors. Water consumption, benefit-cost ratio, and payback period were also determined. The research used a Completely Randomized Design with three treatments and three replications, each with different light intensity. Treatment 3 had the best result regarding the height and weight of onion leeks (254 and 745 g), while the three treatments are comparable in terms of the number of leek sheaths. Using 27 watts of light intensity, the benefit-cost ratio is 9.32.enGrowth and yield of onion leeks (Allium porrum) in indoor farming condition as affected by led light intensityThesis
