This study was conducted to determine the common diseases affecting backyard chicken and the management practices of backyard raisers in the Second District of La Union including the relationship of disease incidence to various factors and its economic impact. It was conducted from January 2020 to March 2020 in the Second District of La Union. The study used a questionnaire floated to 294 randomly selected backyard raisers. Results revealed the demographic profile of respondents as well as their management practices. The incidence rate of common diseases was determined and Aringay has the highest incidence of common diseases. Backyard raisers are usually poor people and the incidence of common diseases has mild economic impact felt by the majority.
