Effectiveness of pulverized Oyster shell (Ostreidae) as a partial replacement of cement in the properties of concrete exposed in coastal condition. [Unpublished Undergraduate Feasibility Study, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union]. Lakasa ti Sirib, DMMMSU Institutional Repository.https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/2833This study was conducted to evaluate the properties of concrete with pulverized oyster shell as partial replacement. Specifically, it aimed to compare the concrete properties of different mixtures with 5%, 10%, and 15% pulverized oyster shell replacement in terms of workability and permeability, determine the compressive strength of different mixtures before and after exposure to coastal conditions, and perform cost analysis to the best treatment of concrete mixtures. Results revealed that the workability of the mixture decreases as the percentage of pulverized oyster shell increases. Meanwhile, the partial replacement of 5% and 10% of pulverized oyster shell to cement has a higher compressive strength than pure concrete. The partial replacement of 5% and 10% has a lower production cost than pure concrete.en-USCement replacementPulverized oyster shellConcrete propertiesCoastal conditionsSustainable constructionConstruction materialsWaste utilizationCivil engineeringConcreteOyster shellsCementBuilding materialsWaste products as building materialsEffectiveness of pulverized Oyster shell (Ostreidae) as a partial replacement of cement in the properties of concrete exposed in coastal conditionThesis
