Therefore, initiatives for training and development strategies are essential instruments to improve their performance, particularly in the banking industry. This study determined how the different training and development strategies implemented by universal banks in the City San Fernando, La Union, affect employee performance. Using a cross-sectional design, data were obtained from 117 respondents from the 12 universal banks. Frequency, percentage, median, and Chi-Square with Cramer's V were utilized as statistical tools to interpret and analyze the gathered data.
