Lakasa ti Sirib, DMMMSU Institutional Repository.https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/766The high cost of commercial feeds prompted the poultry raisers to look for an alternative source of feed supplements like katurai pod meal. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the performance of broilers fed with katurai pod meal as feed supplement from December 6, 2006 to January 17, 2007 at Poultry Project of DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union. Sixty 14 day-old broiler chicks were distributed at random in with four treatments with three replications using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The results revealed that katurai pod meal as feed supplement did not cause any significant variation in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency, cost of feed to produce a kilogram gain and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost and were comparable to the birds in commercial ration.en-USPerformance of broilers fed with Katurai (Sesbania grandiflora l. pers.) pod meal as feed supplementThesis
