A mobile application dictionary is one of the best innovations. Its accessibility provides more convenience for students in vocabulary learning than a printed dictionary. Its affordances offer new ways and opportunities for students 10 learn vocabulary. The goal of this study is to explore the benefits and helpful features of using Merriam-Webster mobile application perceived by students and to provide a guide on how to use the mobile application effectively to maximize their vocabulary learning. Through the use of thematic analysis, findings revealed that helpful features identified are Word Search, Audio Pronunciation, Word of the Day, and more. The benefits observed by students for using the mobile application are the proper pronunciation of words and word spelling. Moreover, students perceived the mobile application as helpful for academic tasks and that it increased their confidence in speaking. The mobile application's accessibility and multiple-featured quality encouraged students to use it.
