Guided by the Rational Unified Process (RUP) framework, the study gathered essential classroom data, including the number of laboratories, course subjects, and user demographics from the Electrical Engineering department. The system sought to streamline the manual attendance process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Central to the system’s hardware was the Arduino UNO R4 WiFi, which connected to a secure router network and synchronized data with a web platform in real-time. A web-based interface, created with Next.js for the front-end and Node.js with MySQL for the bacend, allowed seamless navigation and data management. Usability was assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) by 53 participants, including faculty, students, and an IT expert.
