Nowadays, poultry raising is an important industry in the country and is one of the most profitable businesses which also provides an excellent opportunity for employment. The consuming publics are now concerned on nutritional and healthy foods. This study was conducted to determine the effects of vermi meal as feed additives on the performance of laying quails. It was undertaken in DMMMSU Bacnotan, La Union from May 22, 2016 to August 19, 2016. A total of one hundred fifty ready to lay quails were used in the study. The experiment was laid out following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three blocks where the five treatments were randomly allocated. Result revealed that the addition of vermi meal as feed additives for laying quails was comparable in terms of performance on hen-day egg production, hen house egg production, average egg weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed cost.en-USVermi meal (Lumbricus terrestris) as feed additives for laying QuailThesis
