Lakasa ti Sirib, DMMMSU Institutional Repository.https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/2064Intensive cropping and improper use of inorganic fertilizer are the major causes of infertility of the soil, soil acidification, and salinity that are considered the major cause of decreased in corn production. Hence, the study was conducted to determine the performance of glutinous corn as affected by different kinds of organic foliar fertilizer and to find out the feasibility and profitability of substituting half of the recommended fertilizer rate (120-7-7 kg/ha) with organic foliar fertilizer application. The study was conducted at Sinapangan Sur, Balaoan, La Union, from December 2, 2016 to March 5, 2017 following RCBD in three blocks. Application of 100% BSR (120-7-7 kg/ha) produced the highest corn ear yield (7777.78kg) and grain yield (6466.64kg) per hectare. However, the application of 50% BSR supplemented with either sargassum tea, vermitea, lactic acid bacteria serum, Effective Microorganism, Silkworm Manure tea, or Goat Manure tea produced comparable corn ear yields and grain yields per hectare. Among the organic foliar fertilizer applied, sargassum tea application was the most profitable.en-USKinds of organic foliar fertilizers for 'OPV' glutinous CornThesis
