The data were statistically analyzed using frequency count, percentages, weighted mean and correlation analysis. The findings revealed that most of the respondents were married, high school graduate and earning an average of monthly income of P11,400.00. Majority of their business were registered in a sole proprietorship and capital was shared between family members. Many of them priced their products related to production cost and sold it directly to customers on cash basis within La Union. There were upward trends in the capital, processed products, number of outlets and number of workers hired. In terms of economic contribution, there was a moderate impact on the employment generated while low impact on the improvement of quality of life and quality of products.
