This study assessed the Special Education Program of Baler Central School in Aurora province based on the respondents’ level of awareness of the program and their assessment on the extent of its implementation. With the use of a questionnaire and informal interview, data were gathered from 13 SPED Personnel and 255 parents of special children. The study discovered that both groups of respondents differed in their awareness levels on the various aspects of the SPED program and in their assessment on its implementation. Furthermore, the study revealed that no variable in the SPED Personnel Profile has significant relationship to their level of awareness of the SPED program. Interestingly however, all variables in the parents’ personal profile, except civil status, are significantly related to their level of awareness of the program.enThesis
