Based on proximate analysis conducted by various researchers, the nutrient composition reveals that it could be a source of nutrients for broiler rations. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the performance of 60 heads day-old broiler chicks, following the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) distributed at random in four treatments replicated three times. The treatments used were the following: Commercial Mash (T1), 0% Golden Snail Meal in Formulated Ration (T2), 3% Golden Snail Meal in Formulated Ration (T3) and 6% GSM in Formulated Ration (T4). Results of the study revealed that birds fed with commercial mash, 0% and 3% golden snail meal in formulated rations had comparable final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency and feed cost to produce a kilogram gain in weight. Birds given rations with 6% golden snail meal obtained the lowest feed cost to produce a kilogram gain in weight. On the other hand, birds fed formulated ration without golden snail meal obtained the lowest profit above feed, and stock cost.en-USGolden snail meal as feeds for broilersThesis
