The data were gathered using purposive random sampling with the aid of questionnaire from loom weavers and owners. These were analyzed using frequency counts, average percentage, weighted mean and rank. The findings reveal that majority of loom owners were sole proprietorship, with Php. 10,800.00 average capital, at least 16 years experience in the industry. The blanket weaved product consisted the bulk of production. The double size with design type case of blanket, plain pillow case, small size hand towel and medium size bath towel consisted the highest production. These products were weaved in the traditional process using warping and welt materials which were procured from their regular supplier. The bulk of sales were on cash basis, priced based on production cost to walk-in customers and wholesalers within La Union. Expensive modern machineries and thread materials were the major problems of the industry.en-USAssessment of Handloom weaving industry in Bangar, La UnionThesis
