In rambutan the production of planting materials with longer stems are preferred. Thus, this study on Gibberellic acid (GA3) on rambutan stock seedling production was conducted to determine the best concentration (C1Control, C2–5 ppm GA3, C3–10 ppm GA3, C3–15 ppm GA3) on 240 pcs of stock seedlings employing the RCBD in four blocks. This was conducted at the nursery of the Agriculture Department, DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from December 15, 2009 to February 15, 2010. The initial height, initial number of leaves, and girth size of rambutan seedlings were statistically comparable. The application of GA3 did not significantly influence the length of tap roots of rambutan seedlings at 60 DAP. Results, further disclosed that 15 ppm GA3 induced the seedlings of rambutan to have the highest increment (20.08 cm), girth increment (3.77 mm), most numerous leaves (10.65) and secondary roots (11.25).en-USGibberellic acid for vigorous rambutan stock seedling productionThesis
