Lakasa ti Sirib, DMMMSU Institutional Repository.https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/1657The study was conducted to determine the customer’s satisfaction on the fuel energy saving device with specific objectives of determining the respondents’ profile, their level of awareness on fuel energy saving device, their level of satisfaction on the device and the seriousness of problems encountered on the device. The data were obtained with the aid of survey questionnaires floated to a total of 64 respondents, who were recipients of the fuel energy saving device in La Union. The descriptive tools like frequency count, percentage rate, and weighted mean were employed for the analysis of data. From the results of study, the following findings were derived:Majority (93.75%) of the respondents are males, 82.81% belonged to the age bracket of 21-30, and most (45.31%) of the respondents are high school graduates. 42.19% of the respondents are farmers and most earned a monthly income ranging from ₱1,000 – 5,000. Majority (35.94%) also owned a jeepney. The level of awareness of the respondents on fuel energy saving device was noted to have a grand mean of 4.36, with a descriptive equivalent of fully aware. The highest of which is the criteria “the fuel energy saving device can decrease carbon monoxide emission and exhaust smoke of a car” with a mean rate of 4.75. The level of customer satisfaction on fuel energy saving device, based on the criteria being evaluated, gained a grand mean of 4.29 which is descriptively rated as very satisfied. The effect of the device as “help in saving money” registered a mean rate of 4.48. The problems encountered by the customer on the fuel energy saving device were rated moderately serious with a grand mean of 3.37. Among the problems encountered by the respondents, the product price registered to have the highest rate 4.20. Based on the conclusion of this study, the following conclusions were drawn, The respondents are dominated by males with a mean age of 34 and have formal education. Respondents are also dominated by farmers with an average monthly income of ₱16,250 and owning jeepneys. The customers who adopted and installed fuel energy saving device are fully aware on the benefits brought about by the device. The customers who adopted and installed fuel energy saving device are fully satisfied with the performance of the device. The problems encountered on the fuel energy saving device are serious.
