The study aimed to determine the development and management of Human resource in sustainable way in the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation in the City of San Fernando, La Union. It specifically determined the extent of practice in terms of acquisition, maintenance and development. This descriptive research used a survey questionnaire to gather data that were analyzed using frequency and median. The findings revealed that the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations in the City of San Fernando are commonly small organizations with employees who are more into clerical positions and that these companies almost always practiced the human resource management.x, 63 p.: ill.
